Our Very Scientific Scoring Method

Still in development, but here are the factors we’re thinking about. We’ll probably score each bullet point on a 1-chip to 5-chip rating and then add them all up for a total score?

Nachos

  • the base – are the chips crisp, not soggy? sturdy enough? (if it’s a different base like potato chips or tater tots: really?)
  • quality of toppings
  • variety of toppings
  • distribution of toppings

Cocktails

  • do they even have a full bar (turns out not many nacho-serving places do?)
  • typical cocktail stuff: are they strong enough, not too sweet?
  • how well do the cocktails compliment the nachos and vice versa
